the Sugar Factory Tower

The only remnant of the old sugar factory in Carlow town that remains, the tower.
The sugar factory was a site of employment for many and a reason for farmers around the country to grow sugarbeet. Now gone.
Will the tower remain?

The farm disappearing

The dying chestnut tree:
The tree that fell in the storm
Another dead tree, coming back to life after 20 years?
The bridge, a heritage site, that was going to be replaced by the N9, until it was decided to take a different route.
The horse that ate too much good grass; 5 min before she died:

The Farm

My photos: Taken while strolling around in the field, taking photos of what I felt drawn towards.
